The proposer then selects a group of transactions from his transaction pool and arranges them in a block. Finally, the proposing committee works to agree and finalize the newly established block. Klaytn wants to improve its consensus algorithm over time to gain more security and efficiency.
For approval, a proposed block must be signed by more than two-thirds of the members of the committee. If the committee agrees, the new block is circulated to all CNs, and the consensus round is completed. Once the new block is broadcast on all CN, PNN provides block header and body data to ENN, so that the information of the newly generated block can be made available to all Klaytn network participants.
The level of traffic congestion in a network has a significant effect on its delay. Assuming that the throughput of the network remains constant, the latency of the network will be proportionately delayed as the number of transactions increases.
